Good Faith Estimates

Under the No Surprises Act, clients who are uninsured or who choose not to use insurance to pay for services have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for mental health services.

You may request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services or at any time during treatment. When you request an estimate, or when you schedule services at least three business days in advance, you will generally receive an estimate of the expected charges.

For questions or to request an estimate, please contact your clinician or notify the practice in writing.

Please keep your Good Faith Estimate for your records. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than the estimated charges, you may have the right to dispute the bill through the federal Patient-Provider Dispute Resolution process.
